The Anadarko Community Library, a department of the City of Anadarko, is established for the purpose of extending library services and facilities to all   members of the community living in the Anadarko area, regardless of occupation, creed, class, or race, and has the responsibility of recognizing and meeting the educational, informational, cultural, and recreational needs of this community through their services.  It further supports and encourages life-long learning with a special emphasis on literacy programs as well as adult continuing education and programs for children.  The Anadarko Community library strives to provide its services in an atmosphere that encourages individual usage and inspires personal and community enlightenment and enrichment.  The Anadarko Community Library strives to participate in a cooperative manner with other libraries and serve organizations in order to provide the maximum benefit possible for its community.
