Brown Bag Book Club

For the September meeting we will all be reading "To Kill a Mocking Bird" by Harper Lee. It is the 50th anniversary celebration of the publishing of this book.

The meeting will be on Wednesday, September 8th from 12:00 - 1:00 PM. Bring your lunch and then enjoy dessert and drinks on us.

For the October meeting we are looking at reading and discussing a book with a chocolate theme, as we have the Chocolate Festival in October. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

The Anadarko Community Library, a department of the City of Anadarko, is established for the purpose of extending library services and facilities to all   members of the community living in the Anadarko area, regardless of occupation, creed, class, or race, and has the responsibility of recognizing and meeting the educational, informational, cultural, and recreational needs of this community through their services.  It further supports and encourages life-long learning with a special emphasis on literacy programs as well as adult continuing education and programs for children.  The Anadarko Community library strives to provide its services in an atmosphere that encourages individual usage and inspires personal and community enlightenment and enrichment.  The Anadarko Community Library strives to participate in a cooperative manner with other libraries and serve organizations in order to provide the maximum benefit possible for its community.
